Missing Canadian found in Mae Sot forest
A rescue team on Friday tracked down the 45-year-old Canadian man who had disappeared while exploring a forested area near Wat Tham Inthanin in Tak’s Mae Sot district on Thursday evening.
The man and his bicycle were found in the forest some seven kilometres from the Ban Huai Hin Fon checkpoint. The rescue team had tracked him down using GPS and maps.
The man, who had no wounds but was slightly exhausted, thanked his rescuers and admitted he lost his way in the dark.
