Swing to Success: Junior Asian Tour Finale at Treasure Hill Golf Club
Young golfers will seize their final opportunity to hone their skills in the season-ending Junior Asian Tour circuit, scheduled to take place from November 24-26 at Treasure Hill Golf Club in Chonburi.
This particular JAT episode marks the sixth edition of the Junior Asian Tour's 2023 series, providing promising young golfers with the chance to refine their talents through participation in events held to international standards. The tournament also offers coveted wildcard entry opportunities through qualifying rounds for non-members. Participants stand to accrue valuable World Amateur Golf Rankings and Junior Golf Scoreboard points.
The Junior Asian Tour encompasses six categories for both boys and girls, categorized into C classes (ages 10-12), competing in a two-day 36-hole format, and the B classes (ages 13-14), and A classes (ages 15-18), each contested over three days with a total of 54 holes. Each JAT circuit will confer World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and Junior Golf Scoreboard points to the players involved.
Non-JAT members can vie for a spot in the tournament through a qualifying round set for November 23 at Treasure Hill Golf Club. Qualified players will then secure their positions for the main tournament rounds, occurring from Friday through Sunday.
Each JAT circuit not only provides a platform for players to participate in international standard tournaments but also allows them to accumulate points that may open doors to selection in various international junior and professional events. These include the LPGA Tour, Ladies European Tour, Asian Tour, TrustGolf Tour, and other prestigious events in Thailand.
