The new development within the Government Complex Bangkok on Chaeng Watthana Road marks a significant shift in public infrastructure planning. It moves away from the traditional energy consumer model, focusing instead on becoming a clean-energy producer through an integrated solar energy system and advanced storage technologies. This approach is key to reimagining government districts as future-ready, breathable urban ecosystems.

Dr. Nalikatibhag Sangsnit, President of DAD, highlighted the project’s environmental impact: "The Government Complex is now a model of how modern public infrastructure can coexist with nature without compromising efficiency. It enhances both quality of life while strengthening environmental health. This is the essence of a government district that truly breathes for the 21st century."

Key Green and Wellness Innovations
Inspired by the shape of a traditional "pod duang" coin, symbolizing stability and prosperity, Building C integrates several high-performance green features:

Clean Energy Production: The facility generates over 2,200 kWh of solar energy daily.

Carbon Sequestration: A vast 19,900 sq.m. rooftop sky garden provides natural insulation, absorbs CO₂, and mitigates the urban heat island effect.

Energy Efficiency: A Solar Shield façade reduces heat gain by up to 37%, complemented by Passive Cooling and District Cooling systems.

Air Quality: The use of MERV-13 air filtration removes more than 85% of fine particulates, including PM2.5 and allergens, promoting occupant well-being.

Sustainable Sourcing: Over 60% of construction materials were locally sourced, significantly reducing transportation-related carbon emissions.

These combined elements firmly establish Government Complex Building C as a “21st Century Carbon-Intelligent Building,” serving as a blueprint for architecture designed to harmonise people, technology, and nature for current and future generations.
