BBL offers online cheque imaging

Bangkok Bank has launched a new high-technology service enabling online banking customers to view images of cheques they have written via Bualuang iBanking and BIZ iBanking.

 

 

Bangkok Bank Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom said that this newly developed service will make it easier for customer to view records of their cheques. Customers can view images of their cheques via Bualuang iBanking and BIZ iBanking and print the cheque images for future reference. The new service is another example of Bangkok Bank delivering technology innovation and will enhance the convenience and efficiency of financial transactions and help to meet the lifestyle needs of a young generation that increasingly relies on technology and the internet in their daily lives.

 

"Bangkok Bank is the first bank to deploy the cheque imaging system. In the initial stage, the service will allow customers to view images of the cheques to be cleared within the Bangkok Metropolitan area. Customers using Bualuang iBanking and BIZ iBanking can view cheque images issued over the past 180 days. The images can be viewed by simply clicking on the cheque number in the current account details," Thaweelap said.

 

Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Virasak Sutanthavibul said the service is the latest banking innovation developed by the bank to meet the needs of customers, particularly SME operators who regularly use cheques in their financial transactions. The service will enhance customer financial management efficiency.  Bangkok Bank is determined to support SMEs with a complete range of financial products and services so they are able to do business in a sustainable and stable fashion, he said.

 

Personal banking customers can apply for Bualuang iBanking at any Bangkok Bank ATM or at any branch.
