TFEX halts silver trading again

Thailand Futures Exchange today temporarily suspended the trading of silver futures for half an hour, following a sharp price fall.

This is the third halt in one month, as silver prices tumble along with gold and other commodities in light of euro zone debt woes.
In a statement, TFEX said that the executed price at 3.05pm fell 10 per cent from the latest settlement price. This prompted the half-hour halt.
