STA reports minimal impact from fire

Sri Trang Agro-Industry Plc insisted that the fire accident on Oct 16 would not send a significant impact on the company's overall operations as well as the delivery of goods.
The fire occured at a ribbed smoked sheet (RSS) factory in Chanthaburi. The rented factory has an effective production capacity of 8,400 tonnes per annum, representing 0.85 per cent of its total capacity of 987,555 tonnes per annum. The fire caused damage to some goods but no injury is reported.
STA has full insurance for the damaged goods.
