Company reports

Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) filed a notice with the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday that it expected to resume some production on December 1.

The company informed the SET on October 17 that it was temporarily closing down because of the flood situation and would resume operations on November 1. However, production lines on the first floor of its premises at the Bang Pa-in Industrial Estate remain submerged, therefore resumption of operations has been put back to December 1.

Cal-Comp Electronics (Thailand) also informed the SET that as the flooding situation where its subsidiary Avaplas (Thailand) is located has gradually stabilised and drainage of the industrial zone is planned for the near future, Avaplas is scheduled to resume its operations gradually starting from November 25. The company will closely monitor the situation and will inform the exchange of any significant change in circumstances.
