More donations for floods

The Chaipattana Foundation has attracted continued flow of donations.
Recently, Uniqlo (Thailand) donated Bt2 million cash and products worth Bt10 million for Thai flood victims to the foundation. Takahiro Nishimura, chief operating officer of the company, recently presented the items to Sumet Tantivejkul, secretary-general of the Chaipattana Foundation.
Donated products cover about 20,000 articles of clothing.
The foundation was also presented Bt640,000 proceeds from TMB Bank, represented by executive Paradai Theerathada.
The bank, in cooperation with ING Banking Asia, hosted the TMB ING Park Run 2011, to commemorate His Majesty the King's 84th birthday.
