Chansin Treenuchagron, managing director of Thai ABS Co, said that the shareholders will mainly consider the appointment and dismissal of directors. Following the shareholders' resolution, the legal issue should be ended.
IRPC - which is majority owned by PTT Plc - owns 99.99 per cent in all five subsidiaries.
"If this issue comes to an end, it should raise confidence among local and foreign investors," he said.
Prachai Leophairatana, founder of IRPC, re-appeared as director of the five subsidiaries. This followed the Business Development Department's change of director lists on February 7, following Prachai's request. Prachai supported his move by the Central Bankruptcy Court's ruling that the director appointment during 2005-2009 were unlawful.
