Kasikornbank is extending Bt40 billion loans to flood-affected businesses, under the Bank of Thailand's soft loan programme designed to assist economic recovery.

Businesses are entitled to Bt30 million maximum and charged 3 per cent per annum for five years.
KBank Executive Vice President Patchara Samalapa said that loans will be extended to businesses located in areas declared as disaster zones.  After five years, the interest rate will be adjusted to normal rate.
Applications are now being taken until December 31, 2012.
KBank has launched several special programmes and services for post-flood business recovery, including K-SME Flood Relief Loans and Kasikorn Factory and Equipment’s machinery and workplace restoration loans.
