Dusit Thani College, Tsuji Institute launch cooking courses

Highest quality, market needs assured

Dusit Thani College has paired up with Japan-based Tsuji Culinary Institute of Osaka to offer cooking courses with brand-new kitchen facilities specifically designed for Japanese cuisine.
A few years ago, Dusit and Le Cordon Bleu agreed to establish an Academy of World Cuisines next to the Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel and introduce an international bachelor of business administration programme in kitchen and restaurant management at the college on Srinakarin Road.
Le Cordon Bleu is a world-renowned network of educational institutions dedicated to providing the highest level of culinary and hospitality instruction.
Tsuji Culinary Institute agreed to reveal the traditional arts of Japanese cuisine to Thailand by recently signing an educational cooperation deal with Dusit Thani College to offer courses to culinary-arts majors starting in the coming academic year. Professional courses for the public will be offered early next year.
Highest quality will be assured by these two institutes. Japanese cuisine courses and learning materials will be carefully designed to suit market needs here.
Known as the most reputable professional cooking school in Japan, Tsuji will send its teachers to conduct classes and train instructors at the college in Japanese cuisine specialities to run this programme.
Yoshiki Tsuji, president and owner of Tsuji Culinary Institute Group, and Kazuo Nakamura, chief operating officer, were recently in Bangkok to inspect the college’s facilities and meet with Dusit International chief executive officer Chanin Donavanik and rector Veera Pardpattanapanich to discuss the cooperation.
