That’s what Kasikornbank has in mind for its best customers – the ones who have at least Bt50 million stashed with the bank in savings or investments. It has organised the exclusive "Boyd & Nop Show in YesterYear Once More Concert", a pair of shows, actually, both taking place at King Power’s Aksra Theatre next Wednesday.
Top songwriter Boyd Kosiyabong has put together the sets with Nop Pornchami and Pod Moderndog, catering to the musical tastes of the primarily middle-aged and older bank customers by having each of them sing duets with heavyweight artists of the 1980s. Pod’s going to team up with veteran singer Winai Panturat, for example.
A bank official promises a fun time for all, and there should be a decent crowd, because about 80,000 of its customers have more than Bt50 million in reserve. Those who want to go had better grab tickets fast, though – the theatre only has 1,200 seats for each of the two concerts.
DM spells it out
If you’re looking to buy more furniture and housewares from DM Home, don’t look for DM Home. It has changed its name to Decor Mart.
Marketing manager Paweena Taweekitjaroenpaisal says the rebranding is a response to the changing consumer demographic. "People love decorating their homes at a younger age now, starting in their early 30s, and they’re more sophisticated in their tastes," she says.
So the logo has a younger look, but there’s no change in the appealing products on sale at the branches in Bangkok on Thonglor 19 and at Siam Paragon and in Phuket. A new range of items has been added, though, from Bunny Williams’ American BeeLine. Look for the goods on sale here as just "Bunny Williams" – at the same price as the US online rate.
No, you don’t have to wait for the Chinese Year of the Rabbit (or Easter) to buy Bunny Williams.
