SET falls further

Bleeding continued at the Stock Exchange of Thailand, as the composite index on Monday shed another 2.60 per cent on concern of credit fears in China.

At the close, the index was down 36.41 points, to 1,364.09 points, on turnover of Bt44 billion.  The market witnesses losses in four of the last five trading days. From end-May, the index has lost over 10 per cent.
Foreign investors remained net-sellers today, as sells surpassed purchases by Bt2.3 billion.
China's stock market today plunged by more than 5 per cent - leading to falls in global markets, amid concern a cash crunch will hurt the world's second-largest economy.
