The grants support the Foundation’s global priority areas and the Company’s three-part sustainability approach, focused on enhancing people’s well-being, building strong communities and protecting the environment.
"Coca-Cola wants to be a positive force in communities around the world," said Lisa M Borders, chair of The Coca-Cola Foundation and vice president of Global Community Connections for The Coca-Cola Company. "Through these grants, we have an amazing opportunity to make a real difference for millions of people by supporting personal well-being programmes, improving access to critical natural resources such as clean water and supporting many other sustainable community programmes."
The Coca-Cola Foundation has awarded more than $500 million to support global sustainable community initiatives, including water stewardship, community recycling, active healthy living, and education.
