THAI's new business plan wins preliminary approval

Thai Airways International's board of directors approved the plan to improve the flight efficiency.

Ampon Kittiampon, chairman of the board, said that the board approved the plan and it would be discussed at the workshop on July 27.
"The plan covers changes in routing as well as service efficiency enhancement, in response to competition in the aviation industry," Ampon said.
THAI President Sorajak Kasemsuvan said that the workshop is part of the bi-annual brainstorming session between the board of directors and executives.
THAI has performed poorer than expected in the first months of this year. Sorajak's 6-month performance evaluation is due in August.
