In a filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the company said that the suspension would start from June 3.
It cited that since May 16, a group of protester who opposed the company's mining at Tambol Khaoluang, in Loei has gathered and blocked the publicroad, creates obstructions and shut the entrance of the headquarters. Employees were blocked from entering the office while customers were also blocked from contacting the company.
"Under such circumstance, the company cannot operate normally. To avoid dangers and risks to our employees and customers, therefore, the
company has to temporarily suspend the operations," it said.
