Tune chief executive Tom Kruesopon said anyone who ordered an up-sized McDonald’s meal would automatically received insurance coverage of Bt10,000 for a 30-day period.
The company will run the campaign for three months, starting in October.
"From this campaign, we expect to get 800,000 new customers from McDonald’s fans," Kruesopon said.
Kruesopon said Tune would also establish an alliance with Major Cineplex in which people who purchased a premium seat would also receive the deal, while it would also be offered to students and alumni from private universities such as Bangkok University and Nation University.
He said Tune was also considering offering it to newspaper subscribers, among others.
The AirAsia Group established Tune after taking over Osotspa Insurance in a Bt700 million deal.
Its major shareholders are Tony Fernandes, group chief executive officer of the AirAsia Group (49 per cent), Kruesopon (25 per cent) and Osotspa management (26 per cent).
