Big potential for Kingdom’s aviation sector: study

Thailand's aviation industry will record a market value of Bt286.2 billion this year and Bt306.4 billion in 2018 if the government’s reform of the sector is successful, according to a study released on Monday by Kasikorn Research Centre.
The government has implemented measures so the sector meets standards expected by the International Civil Aviation Organisation and the US Federal Aviation Administration.
Kasikorn said Thailand was the centre of the region and had facilities to serve business growth when the sector was elevated to the global standard.
