Star Cruises announces inaugural homeport in Laem Chabang
STAR Cruises announced the new homeport deployment of SuperStar Gemini to Laem Chabang at a launch event on Tuesday at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre.
SuperStar Gemini will be based in Laem Chabang International Terminal from December 17, 2017, to April 27 April, 2018.
At the announcement were the company’s travel trade and airline partners and executives from Genting Hong Kong.
“We are excited to announce Star Cruises’ inaugural homeport in The Land of Smiles with the deployment of SuperStar Gemini at Laem Chabang,” said Ang Moo Lim, president of Star Cruises.
“Our long history with Thailand stretches all the way back to 1995 when we first called in at Phuket and, today, we are proud to be able to call Laem Chabang, with its close proximity to the bustling city of Bangkok, our new home come 17 December this year.”
During her deployment, SuperStar Gemini will embark on three-night cruises to Sihanoukville and Ko Samui, departing every Sunday; two-night cruises to Sihanoukville, departing every Wednesday, and two-night cruises to Koh Kong Island, departing every Friday.
