TRIS assigns ‘AAA’ company rating for NEDA

TRIS Rating has assigned a company rating of “AAA” for Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (NEDA).
The rating reflects NEDA’s status as a Thai government body, carrying out government policies concerning economic development cooperation with neighbouring countries, with ongoing financial support from the government in the form of subsidies as part of its ordinary course of operation.
In TRIS Rating’s opinion, the likelihood of NEDA receiving extraordinary support from the government in the event of financial distress is a near certainty.
