Huawei rises to 83 in Fortune 500 List
Network and telecom equipment giant Huawei has climbed up to 83rd place in the Fortune 500 list released on July 20, a big improvement from 129th last year.
With a revenue of US$78.51 billion (Bt2.62 trillion), Huawei made it to the top 100 global companies for the first time.
The Fortune 500 list ranks companies based on revenue and profit, focusing more on the size of the companies compared with other lists.
The Fortune 500 rankings have become an important indicator used by renowned companies to measure their own strengths, size and international competitiveness.
