Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance has appointed Simon Smallcombe as chief distribution officer effective on September 15.
He will succeed Poramasiri Manolami, who is resigning.
David Korunic, chief executive officer, said Smallcombe would be responsible for the development and sales of all distribution channels including bancassurance, agency, corporate solutions and partnerships. 
He would also join the company’s executive committee. 
Smallcombe moved to Krungthai-AXA Life after a successful career as managing director and global distribution director of AXA Life Invest in the United Kingdom, where he built funds under management in excess of 1 billion pounds (Bt43 billion).
