SCB Asset Management Co Ltd managing director and CIO Narongsak Plodmechai said the benchmark index over the rest of this year would face short-term fluctuations from global economic pressures. However, the company believes it would rebound to close between 1,720 and 1,770 by the end of December.
Tisco Asset Management’s head of marketing and wealth advisory services, Saharat Chudsuwan, said that although the index had breached the 1,650-point mark, there was continued upside to come, given that the country’s economic growth has been sustained.
