JSCCIB maintains 2018 economic, export forecasts as growth momentum continues

The Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking (JSCCIB) has maintained its forecast of Thailand’s economic growth at between 3.8 per cent and 4.5 per cent for this year, with export growth still predicted to come in at 3.5 per cent to 6 per cent.
In a press release on Tuesday, the committee said the country’s growth momentum was continuing, as reflected in the expansion of exports and growth of the tourism industry in January.
