Thailand's trade with Japan under free trade agreements rose 11.2 per cent in 2018.

Auramon Supthaweethum, director-general of Department of Trade Negotiations, said trade value between Thailand and Japan under two effective FTAs amounted to US$60.2 billion, with Thai exports contributing to $24.94 billion and imports valued at $35.26 billion.
The two effective FTAs are JTEPA and Asean-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership (AJCEP).
