GULF Contributes THB 1 Million to the Suranaree Military Museum Fund to Support the Welfare and Education of Children of Fallen and Affected Soldiers in Border Areas
Gulf Development Public Company Limited (GULF), represented by Mr. Tanon Tantisunthorn (2nd from left), Chief Public Affairs Officer, and Mr. Sitamon Ratanavadi (far left), Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, presented THB 1 million in financial support to the Suranaree Military Museum Fund to enhance welfare and educational assistance for the children of soldiers who lost their lives or were affected by combat operations in border areas under the responsibility of the Suranaree Task Force. The contribution was officially received by Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen (3rd from left), Minister of Defence, at the Ministry of Defence.
This contribution reflects GULF’s strong commitment to supporting sustainable social development across all dimensions. In particular, the company recognizes the importance of contributing to national security efforts and safeguarding the country's sovereignty, believing that national security is a fundamental pillar of Thailand’s continued progress and resilience. Earlier this year, GULF established a THB 100 million relief fund to provide assistance and support for military personnel who were injured or lost their lives while performing security-related duties along the Thai-Cambodian border. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of life and provide meaningful support to affected soldiers and their families, helping them recover and move forward with strength and dignity.
In addition, GULF has continued to support public healthcare initiatives by donating medical equipment worth more than THB 2.1 million to Fort Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani Province, as a gesture of gratitude for the dedication and sacrifice of Thailand’s armed forces.
Beyond financial and healthcare support, GULF remains actively engaged in assisting security operations and communities in border areas. The company has distributed more than 2,000 “GULF Care” relief bags to soldiers and civilians affected by the situation and residing in temporary shelters across various provinces. GULF has also provided financial support to relief centers and collaborated with its affiliated companies to deploy advanced communications and satellite technologies, helping security personnel maintain more efficient and reliable communications while carrying out their duties.
