Healthy Hokkaido

Healthy Hokkaido

Thais have long had a passion for Japanese food made with fish and seafood, both healthy sources of protein and Omega3 fatty acid that help to prevent and control the risk of coronary heart disease.

The Japanese also use seaweed, or “nori”, as the main ingredient for a variety of dishes including "maki", steamed rice wrapped in seaweed and vegetables, and ramen noodles. Seaweed is rich in protein, iodine and dietary fibre and is excellent for the digestive system.
These and other healthy dishes can be enjoyed at the Hokkaido Fair in Bangkok taking place at CentralWorld from today through Sunday (May 26-28). There’s you’ll find the signature cuisine of several cities on Japan’s northern island including Bistro with Grilled Taraba Legs and Kurohanabi Honten with Hokkaido steak.
Today at 4.30, fair-goers will be able to meet and greet hot actor Kitpong “Boom” Khamkrith, a self-confessed fan of Japanese food especially sushi.
