Succulent seafood from Sicily

Succulent seafood from Sicily

Attico Italian restaurant at the Radisson Blu Plaza bids farewell to summer by introducing a new selection of seafood dishes to enjoy throughout September.

Part of the “Italian Journey” culinary adventure, chef Matteo’s menus will focus on the bounties of the sea and highlight regional Italian seafood with a series of signature dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients that are always sourced
with integrity.

“The seafood we have highlighted for this promotion is very special and not something you find at most Italian restaurants in Bangkok. Keeping the quality high and the ingredients fresh are what we do best at Attico. The Tuscan villa decor,
great music, thoughtful cuisine, and amazing city views give Attico its unique charm and make it feel quite special every day of the week,” said Deborah Haines, general manager of Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok.

Guests can enjoy sea bream, tuna, octopus and Italian red prawns, including the sweet and juicy Red Prawns of Mazzara del Vallo harvested from the crystal-clear blue waters of Sicily on the south-west coast of the island and served in a
rosemary flavoured salt crust with roast vegetables.

Other red prawns come wrapped with smoked pancetta and are served with mixed Asian salad, garlic croutons and a passion fruit dressing. The sea bream is cooked in a light broth with cherry tomato, white wine, garlic and parsley and Liguria style
with pine nuts, black olives, potato and artichoke.

Other marine delights on the menu are Slow-Cooked Octopus Salad on Black “Venere” Rice, Crunchy Vegetables & Fresh Strawberry, Braised Octopus in Chianti Wine, and Tuna Carpaccio and grilled red tuna served rare with baked
cherry tomatoes, wild rocket pesto and balsamic jelly.

The special menu is available for both lunch and dinner and prices start at Bt480-plus per dish.
