SET index midday down 74.93 pts, 7.82 pct

Thai composites stocks index (SET) at midday Monday stood at 883.23, down 74.93 points, or 7.82 per cent amid Bt 24.81 billion turnover in line with regional bourses as investors dumped shares on Euro debt crisis fears. 

Blue chip SET-50 index was at 614.23, down 52.79 points, or 7.91 per cent.

Top five active (value) stocks: PTT, BANPU, SCC, BBL, PTTCH.
