The Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand can only attend to 10 cases per day due to the limited number of boats and severe flooding blocking them from accessing people's homes.

Pawin Naramethakul, an expert from the institute, is urging people, especially children under the age of six, those over 70, pregnant women and the seriously ill to evacuate from flooded areas because they would be difficult to reach in the case of emergency. He said the institute’s 1669 hotline receives many calls for help, but they are only able to attend to 10 cases per day.
