BMA to send flood evacuees home Wednesday

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will send flood evacuees home Wednesday and prepare schools used as temporary shelters for the new school term opening on December 6.

However 91 schools in 10 Bangkok districts remained flooded hence the school term opening would be postponed to December 13.

BMA deputy governor Thaya Theepasuwan Tuesday said that BMA would gradually send flood evacuees home along with some cleaning kit bags.
The BMA would provide transport for evacuees from shelters to the various meeting points so that they could return home, while those who couldn't return home yet would stay at the youth centers, sport centers or scout camps of BMA until the flood situation returned to normal.
