Rangoon - An explosion in a public toilet Wednesday killed a woman and injured another in Rangoon, police said.

The blast occurred about 11 am (0400 GMT) outside Yangon University near Hledan junction.
Past bombs set off in Rangoon, Burma's former capital and the country's largest city, have been blamed by authorities on ethnic minority insurgent groups, such as the Karen National Army, which has been fighting the central government for the past six decades.
Wednesday's explosion came at a time when the government has initiated ceasefire talks with a handful of rebel groups, including the Karen.
