Law Society urges crackdown on lese majeste

The Law Society of Thailand on Friday issued a statement calling for law enforcement authorities to crackdown on the spread of royal insult in cyberspace.
“Thai citizens are duty-bound to uphold and protect the monarchy,” Law Society president Sak Korsaenruang said.
Sak said nationla police chief General Priewpan Damapong and Information and Communication Technology Minister Anudith Nakornthap should intensify efforts to unmask the culprits behind the royal insult.
