Protesting truckers open one lane on outbound Vibhavadi

Protesting truckers agreed Monday to open one lane on the outbound Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road to motorists following a talk with police.

Deputy metropolitan police chief Pol Maj Gen Methi Kusolsrang said the protester agreed to move their trucks out of one lane at 3:15 pm.
Methi said the protest caused traffic chaos on adjacent roads and the congestion spilled to the Din Daeng Intersection and Victory Monument.
The truckers were protesting against the Cabinet’s resolution to allow NGV retail price to hike.
