Administrative court to launch judicial review of victim compensations

Although the Administration Court will not issue an injunction for compensating the victims of political disturbances from 2005 to 2010, it has agreed to launch a judicial review into the matter, Democrat MP Sathit Pitutecha said Friday.

“The court has found no urgency to warrant an injunction because the compensation payments will be a lengthly process before actual disbursement,” he said.
Sathit cited his representation of tax payers to act the complainant in the administrative suite seeking to derail the compensation payments on grounds of unclear payment guidelines.
