Wall St ends up

U.S. stocks closed up on positive earnings reports.The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 194.13 points, or 1.50 per cent at 13,115.54.
The S&P 500 index surged 21.21 points, or 1.55 per cent to 1,390.78.
All key S&P sectors finished firmly in positive territory, led by energy and techs.
The Nasdaq composiste gained 54.42 points, or 1.82 per cent to end at 3,042.82.
