Phuket is safe from earthquakes

Phuket Deputy Governor Chamroen Thippongthada rebutted a rumour that Phuket would be under water on series of earthquake, saying no need for evacuation.
He referred to a the social-media rumour that within April 28, Phuket would be submerged.
"The rumour should be ignored. All should use their senses and closely follow announcement from the authorities," he said.
The Southern resort island has suffered from aftershocks in the past few days, which led to cracks in over 30 houses.
