Japan approves multiple entry visa for Thais

Starting from June 1, the Japanese Government will launch a multiple entry visa for temporary visitors specifically for Thai nationals living in Thailand.

According to an announcement by the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, this is a result of the Summit Meeting held in Japan on March 7, 2012 between Japanese Prime Minister  Yoshihiko Noda and Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
"We hope that implementation of the new multiple entry visa will increase the number of Thai visitors to Japan, enhance business convenience and strengthen cooperation between both countries," it said.
