Students leaving

A student who took part in a hunger protest against Bodindecha School's decision to not allow dozens to continue learning there, who was later allowed to enrol when places opened up, has dropped out due to peer pressure, a teacher at the school said yest

Two other Mathayom 4 students who protested but were later admitted were also stressed, and one was on the verge of dropping out, Preecha Jitsingh, head of the school’s student-recruiting committee said.
He said the school director had talked to the students and their classmates, urging them to understand the situation.
Preecha said that as of yesterday, 54 Mathayom 3 students had registered for help from the remedial committee to find them a place in 13 other Bangkok schools. Some 38 of those students had taken part in the hunger protest. That assistance would end on Friday (June 1), he said.
Some students seeking aid asked to change schools, first registering at Thep Leela School then switching to Bang Kapi School.
