17 youths held for street racing

Police in Samut Sakhon’s Muang district announced the arrest of 17 youths yesterday for street racing, along with 30 motorbikes. Seven of the group under 18. They were among a group of about 100 racing on outbound Rama II road at about 1am.
Police urged parents to keep their youths at home at night and said they would take the offenders to court and propose that their bikes be seized to seriously crackdown on illegal street racing.
