Farut's X-rays to be used as evidence

Instead of exhuming the body of murder victim Farut Chaiseth for autopsy, X-ray images of his head taken in a hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima will be used as evidence to prove he had been shot in the head and to file charges against the self-confessed suspe

Exhumation goes against Islamic rules.
The X-rays, taken at Pak Chong Nana Hospital, show a single 9-millimetre bullet hole in the middle of the skull, with an entry wound at the back of the head, deputy provincial police chief Pol Colonel Bunsong Attaworranant said. Farut succumbed to the gunshot wound two weeks ago in what is considered a road-rage incident.
Suspect Mun Poolsap has been charged with the principal offence of murder, while Suriya – a passenger in Farut’s sport-utility vehicle – will be charged with attempted murder for opening fire on the suspect’s vehicle. Evidence shows that the first round of shots did indeed come from Farut’s vehicle. Suriya is related to Chart Thai Pattana Party MP Thada Chaiseth, who was Farut’s father.
Both Suriya and Mun will face additional charges of carrying and using handguns without good reason. The two men have been released on bail after surrendering to police and pleading not guilty to the principal charges. Police are investigating witnesses and compiling evidence to solidify their investigation.
An officer said investigators could not say when the case would be completed.
