Wall St ends lower

U.S. stocks finished in negative territory following negative economic reports while investors are cautious over looming fiscal cliff.
Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 28.57 points, or 0.23 per cent to 12,542.38
S&P 500 lost 2.16 points, or 0.16 per cent to 1,353.33.
Nasdaq composite dropped 9.87 points, or 0.35 per cent to 2,836.94.
Among the key S&P sectors, telecoms and utilities dropped, while financials managed a gain.
