Boonlert says police provoke violence with teargas firing

Pitak Siam leader Boonlert Kaewprasit alleged that police tried to infuriate and provoke demonstrators to storm into the Government House compound by firing teargases at them.

Boonlert said the demonstrators did not plan to move around but wanted simply to expand the rally site toward Rajdamnone Road to accommodate the growing number of protesters.
Boonlert said police refused to remove the barricades but fired teargases at the demonstrators without justification.
He said Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra no longer had legitimacy to remain in office because she lacked capability and ethics.
He said the military should come out to help the people now that police have used violence against the people.
