Makkawan police barricades reinforced with two companies of riot police

A police source said two companies of riot police stationed in the Government House were deployed to reinforce the police lines at the Makkawan Rangsan Bridge.
The reinforcement was made after protesters tried to break through the police lines to link the area to the Royal Plaza.
The source said police kept protesters from the road from Makkawan bridge to Misakawan Intersection at the order of Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung who fear that the protesters may storm into the Government House.
