Asian business sentiment improving in Q4

Business sentiment at Asia's top companies rose slightly this quarter, reversing two straight quarters of decline, according to a Thomson Reuters/Insead Asia poll.
A third of the 96 companies that responded to the latest Business Sentiment Survey reported a positive outlook for the next six months, an increase from 33 per cent in the third quarter. Negative responses declined from 9.3 per cent to 7.3 per cent while neutral responses rose to 59.4 per cent from 57.7 per cent.
The overall index reading was 63, up slightly from 62 in the third quarter and higher than 57 in the fourth quarter of last year.
