Wall St ends down

U.S. stocks closed lower in volatile trading amid euro concerns which limit gains
Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 42.47 points, or 0.30 per cent at 13,944.05,
S&P 500 erased 2.73 points, or 0.18 per cent to close at 1,509.39.
Most key S&P sectors finished lower, led by materials and energy.
Nasdaq fell 3.35 points, or 0.11 per cent at 3,165.13.
