The event will kick off tomorrow and end on May 26.
Nation Multimedia Group chairman Suthichai Yoon said Nation U was inviting interested students to join the open house. On May 19, he and Asst Prof Pongin Rakariyatham, president of Nation U, will meet participants and provide them with information on the university’s programmes.
Participants will also be given a chance to visit the university’s classrooms and facilities.
Nation U offers popular programmes in Communication Arts and Business Administration with practical learning activities, as well as an employment guarantee to students, Pongin said.
He said he hoped that students would opt to study at Nation U’s campuses in Lampang and Bangkok, especially in popular faculties like Communication Arts and Business Administration. They were among the 11 most popular faculties in 2013.
Suthichai said: “The Faculty of Communication Arts at Nation U offers a curriculum that was created by professionals from different kinds of media.
“We offer practical learning in which our students learn from our media professionals. The Faculty of Business Administration can guarantee that its graduates will be employed by the Siam Commercial Bank.”
Pongin said Nation U offered scholarships to outstanding students. Every semester, those with a grade point average (GPA) from 3.00-3.20 would be given a 20-per-cent discount on their tuition fees, those with GPAs above 3.25 but lower than 3.50 would get a 50-per-cent discount, and those with GPAs of 3.50 and over would have 100 per cent of tuition fees paid.
Students can walk in to apply at both campuses of Nation U from 9am-6pm every day or apply online at www.nation.ac.th. Call (02) 338-3777 for more information.
