Wall St ends up

U.S. stocks closed up on better-than-expected economic data, while investors ignored sell-offs on Nikkei. 
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 180.85 points, or 1.21 per cent to close at 15,176.08.

S&P 500 gained 23.84 points, or 1.48 percent, to close at 1,636.36.

All key S&P sectors closed in positive territory on financial and telecoms shares.

Nasdaq compoiste rallied 44.94 points, or 1.32 percent to 3,445.37.
