SET index ends down 23.43 pts, 1.60 pct

Thai composite stocks index (SET) closed on Wednesday at 1,443.57, down 20.41 points, or 1.39 per cent in line with most regional shares on concerns over China's slowing economy. Turnover was at  Bt50.76 billion.

Blue chip SET-50 index was at 977, down 15 points, or 1.51 per cent.
