At about 2pm yesterday, more than 1,000 farmers marched down Srirat Expressway - from the Rama VI entrance to the Yommarat exit - causing heavy traffic jams, according to a tweet by the Traffic Police Division.
They ended up at Government House, where they said they wanted the authorities to pay them attention.
Traffic police urged all motorists to avoid the areas because of severe traffic congestion.
